Produced by Sara Gutiérrez and her husband Dayan in the sunlit hills of Buenavista, Quindío, this washed Castillo lot exemplifies the clarity and sweetness that have made Colombia’s coffee famous.
After careful hand-harvesting, the cherries are fully washed and fermented in small batches, then slowly dried to preserve the coffee’s elegant structure and lingering sweetness. The resulting cup is smooth and balanced, with roasted almond and creamy caramel at its core, lifted by jasmine-like florals and a finish reminiscent of panela.
