ABOUT THE BEANS:
Grown in the Andean foothills around Biscucuy in Venezuela’s Portuguesa state, this coffee comes from smallholder farmers in a region long known for its coffee production. The mountainous terrain and fertile soils create ideal conditions for high-quality Arabica.
Cherries are carefully harvested and dried using the natural process, allowing the fruit to ferment and develop sweetness before milling. Drying on raised beds helps maintain clarity while enhancing the coffee’s fruit character. This A-Grade Natural lot shows notes of cocoa, molasses, brown sugar, and red fruit, with a bright acidity and balanced body. The result is a clean, sweet, and well-rounded cup.
