ETHIOPIA CHELBESSA

This washed coffee comes from the Chelbessa Washing Station in Gedeb, one of the largest coffee-producing towns in the Yirgacheffe region. Around 500 smallholder farmers deliver cherry grown on tiny plots, typically without the use of fertilizers or pesticides.

 After delivery, cherries are sorted, fully washed, and dried on raised beds. While individual traceability is limited due to daily lot blending, we work with the same station and export partners each season to maintain quality and consistency.
